Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, is famously known as the “City of Temples.” It has been a sacred pilgrimage site for throngs of devotees who come here to visit the many temples located all across this thriving city. Lingaraja Temple
One of the oldest and the largest temple in Bhubaneswar is the Lingaraja Temple which is a major tourist attraction of Odisha. The temple complex has several shrines and is characterised by the Kalinga style of architecture.

Mukteswar Temple
The Mukteswar Temple belonging to the tenth century is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is known to have some of the most beautifully elaborate carvings. A popular dance festival is held here every year celebrating Odissi- the classical dance of Odisha.

Rajarani Temple
The Rajarani Temple is elegantly laid out on well-maintained temple grounds. There are wonderfully carved sculptures. The Rajarani Music Festival is held here every year which celebrates major Indian classical music traditions like Hindustani and Carnatic music.
