The Mukteswar Dance Festival will be held from the 14th to the 16th of January 2017 in the capital city of Bhubaneswar in the coastal Eastern Indian state of Odisha. The exquisite Mukteswar Temple in Bhubaneswar is the venue for this dance festival which celebrates Odissi – the classical dance form of Odisha and one of the most respected dance forms. This temple dates back to the tenth century and has some very elaborate carved work.

Some of the well-known artists in the Odishi dance form from all over will take part in the Mukteswar Dance Festival. There will be solo, duet and group performances from the dancers which will enthral the audience along with the accompanying music.
