BW Hotelier’s prestigious Indian Hospitality Summit and Awards was held recently with great aplomb at the Leela Ambience Gurugram on March 26 and 27, 2018. Mayfair Hotels & Resorts are humbled and honoured that our very own Mr Sanjeeb Pattnaik, the Resort Manager of both MAYFAIR Waves and MAYFAIR Heritage in Puri won the “Hotel Manager of the Year (East Zone)” award and Mr. Pinak Guha and Chef Niranjan Nayak were awarded the Special Jury Award for Outstanding Performance (East Zone).

The gala event which was held over a period of two days saw a vibrant mix of various hoteliers, industry titans, hospitality consultants, entrepreneurs and corporate bigwigs get together to choose from a wide mix of the cream of the crop: the best in the hospitality industry. The main focus of this year’s Summit was on how the hospitality industry is dealing with disruptors. There were several session held on various topics like New Business Channels, Revenue Management Strategies and Domestic Tourism amongst others.

The awards for MAYFAIR Hotels & Resorts come at a time when the luxury hotel chain are making impressive forays into new destinations while successfully maintaining high level of excellence across all its existing hotels and resorts across India.
